Despite pressure from the EU over trying to legislate bans on LGBTQ rights & to censor Hungary’s LGBTQ  earlier this month Hungary’s Prime Minister began promoting a referendum to confirm & condify their newly-passed anti-LGBTQ law, a law banning & criminalising any content that advocates or depicts support for the LGBTQ community.

On 24 July of this year Hungarian Pride activists called bullshit on his referendum, holding massive demonstrations in Budapest, & calling on the EU to put further pressure on Hungary.
