French etymologies,
but sometimes using English or Arab loan words....as often as not Verlan is used
to openly discuss or plan illegal activities without tipping off
eaves-droppers.] ;

feud w/ the French Prime-Minister continued through Winter 2012 & into
Spring 2013, he took up an invitation fr. Vlad Putin,
gave up his French passport for a Russian passport, & moved to Russia — where he proceeded to further
alienate much of the French public by supporting Russian oligarchs & denouncing
the Russian feminist collective Pussy Riot, saying that they deserved their sentences, & were lucky
they weren’t torn
to shreds for what they’d
done ( staging a
protest against Putin during a service in a Russian Orthodox church,
resulting in them being tried for & convicted of blasphemy &
being sentenced to 3 to 7 yrs. in prison ) ]
