JAPANESE: やーさん / [やーさん — yāsan... §§
§§) Yāsan can be an informal & almost affectionate, & very
respectful manner of addressing a yakuza. The yakuza usually won’t take offense, but
please note that Yakuza are Japanese gangsters (usually urban & suburban) & that,
should offense be taken, their
customs & codes of honor demand, say, the
cutting off of a pinky or a fatal defenestration by way of apology.
