[NOTE : An invective that French Arabs, esp. Algerians, have been hearing from Le Pen’s
National Front (a racist, anti-Semitic, Islamophobic,
homophobic & neo-fascist organization making life in France
miserable for immigrants — esp. those
from former French African colonies,
esp. Algeria, & other racial
& religious minorities, & gays) since the early 1970s, when
a series of Arab-on-French violent incidents in Southern France were followed
by widespread Anti-French-Arab retaliations: Arab immigrants murdered by the
police — either on their way to jail for minor offenses, in jail,
or immediately upon release from jail (anticipating the situation w/ Black Lives Matter
by decades), cafés or homes or hotels
strafed with machine gun fire or bombed w/ Molotiv cocktails. This was so
widespread that it adversely affected France’s relationships w/ the newly
independent countries of north & equatorial Africa for several years, esp.
