NOTE: “Telo” — in Argentina’s equivalent to the French street argot called Verlan — refers to Buenos Aires’ version of Japanese love hotels, w/ rooms rented by the hour for morning or noon or afternoon delight ; Argentina, as Japan, has a premium on living space... & w/ 20-somethings often still living w/ their parents, a “Telo” is preferable to the back seat of a car. But with the current global quarantining, every abode is a telo, love, or no love...
