[NOTE: these terms are weaponized language, & meant to give offense. Which is the whole & compleat & total & entire point of insult & invective, obscenity & blasphemy, & other political speech.]

RUSSIAN:  yмрн до пенсии товаришщ…!  —  Umri do pensii tovarišč…!  ‡

RUSSIAN:  Метинги  —  Metingi   ‡‡

RUSSIAN:  Несанктсй   —  Nesanktsy   ‡‡‡

      ‡)  “Die before you’re due for yr pension, comrade…!”

‡‡)  “Meeting” — any officially-permitted & sanctioned rally or protest ; 

   ‡‡‡)  “Unofficial protests…”  /  “Flash mob protests…”  — organized via mobile phone & laptops, using FB, Twitter, or whatever available online message boards or social media.

NOTE: These var. slogans date fr. summer & fall 2018 protests against Putin’s raising the age for retirement & pension eligibility, which he did after yrs & yrs & yrs of resisting IMF’s requests for this. Putin  proposed to raise the retirement age for women from 55 to 63, & for men from 60 to 65. The avg. life span for women is 77, & for men 66…but as low as 62 or 58 in outlying regions of the Russian Federation. Essentially men stand a good chance of never seeing their pension, or at best getting it for a yr.. . These protests were organized by the Labor Federation of Russia, & various anarchist & socialist grps, as well as libertarians, monarchist/nationalists, & KPRF (the Russian Federation Communist Party). These var. groups seldomly protested together, tending to hold competing ralleys & dilute the imessage. There were few arrests in Moscow, where demonstrations were larger, but hundreds, even thousands, of arrests in St. Petersberg & smaller cities & towns. Despite the fact that 89% of the country hated this, it was passed by the Duma on 27 Sept, 2018…
