LATIN: “Deus mortus est.”  ‡‡

 

‡‡) “God is dead.” an odd phrase to hear in Latin, esp. since coined by the German philologist & sofa pontiff Frederich Nietzschie, & not terribly offensive in Latin, in sofar as ancient Romans might reply, “which god?”
