thurs., 24 aug., 2023: a ukrainian snake island salutation commemorating the first anno of their fight against the russian invasian: give us this Day our Daily Curse

[NOTE: these terms are weaponized language,  &  meant to give offense . Which is the whole  &  compleat  &  total  &  entire point of insult  &  invective,  obscenity  &  blasphemy,  &  other political speech.]

RUSSIAN: Русский военный корабль, Иди на хуй..  — Russky voyenny korabl,  Idi na khuy.  ‡  

     

‡)  Lit., “Russian warship,  Go sit on a dick.” — i.e. & e.g., but not ibid: “Russian warship, Go fuck yourself.” 

[NOTE: As commemorated by a Ukrpostal postage stamp, this was a morse code signal sent by the Ukrainian garrison at Snake Island when a Russian warship turned up & demanded that they surrender. This response, delivered in morse code & by middle finger salute, has been commemorated by the Ukrainian postal service, in the bigget selling stamp since Finland issued those cheeky Tom of Finland stamps.
